At Retro Thrifts, every piece is handpicked and most of our products are unique, preloved and one-of-a-kind. Because of the nature of thrifted clothing, we have a limited return and refund policy.
1. General Return Policy
All sales are generally final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
Change of mind
Personal preference
Incorrect size selection by the customer
Color preference
Minor signs of normal wear
Minor fading or age-related characteristics
Differences caused by lighting or screen settings
Failure to review the product measurements before ordering
Every product listing includes photos, measurements and a condition rating where applicable. Customers are encouraged to review these details carefully before purchasing.
2. When Can I Request a Return?
A return or refund may be considered if:
The item received is substantially different from the item shown/listed
The item has a major undisclosed defect
The wrong item was sent by Retro Thrifts
The item was damaged during delivery and the damage is clearly documented
Minor imperfections consistent with the item’s stated condition are not considered valid reasons for a return.
3. Reporting an Issue
If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the package.
Please provide:
Your order details
Clear photos of the item
Clear photos/videos showing the issue
A short explanation of the problem
Requests submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for a return or refund.
4. Return Approval
All returns must be approved by Retro Thrifts before the item is shipped back.
Do not send an item back without receiving confirmation from us.
If your return is approved, we will provide instructions regarding the return process.
5. Condition of Returned Items
Approved returns must be:
Unworn
Unwashed
Unaltered
In the same condition in which they were received
Returned with original tags/packaging where applicable
Items that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged or otherwise changed after delivery may not qualify for a refund.
6. Refunds
If a refund is approved, the refund amount will depend on the circumstances of the case.
For an error caused by Retro Thrifts, we may provide a replacement where available or issue an appropriate refund.
Because most products are one-of-a-kind, replacement may not always be possible.
7. Return Shipping
If the return is required because Retro Thrifts sent the wrong item or the item was materially different from its description, we will determine the appropriate return-shipping arrangement.
Returns caused by customer preference, incorrect size selection or change of mind are generally not accepted.
8. COD Orders
Refusing a confirmed Cash on Delivery order at the time of delivery is not considered a return.
Customers should only place COD orders when they are ready to receive the package.
9. Final Sale Items
Items specifically marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange except where required by applicable law.
10. Contact
For any issue with your order, contact Retro Thrifts as soon as possible after delivery through our official contact channels.
We review every genuine issue fairly and aim to provide a reasonable solution.
